I don't really believe in New Year resolutions, but the turn of the year is a great time to consider the things you want for the next twelve months. These aren't going to be new goals, but a review of your priorities and the things you want out of life is rarely a bad thing and its something we rarely make the time to do when we have more day-to-day considerations to deal with.
Mine for this year are relatively simple:
- Write more, and improve, my long form writing on this blog.
- Continue improving my home, primarily through addressing the usefulness and enjoyment of the objects and activities that take up the time that we spend there.
- Make some much more meaningful progress on other writing projects — this has happened only in bursts throughout this year, and needs to become a constant and habitual behaviour.
